NY BULLDOGS TRAVEL BASKETBALL
A Positive, Character Building Experience
The NY Bulldogs will be holding open tryouts for the Winter 2018-19 travel basketball season. The tryout is open to current 1st-6th graders. All new and returning players must attend a tryout to be considered for these teams.
Our coaching philosophy is to provide a positive, long term development and education to our players. Our core values are Positivity, Effort, Perseverance, and Sportsmanship. We stress teaching basketball fundamentals while emphasizing how to play the game the correct way; by respecting coaches, teammates, opponents, referees, and the game.
We do not take a ‘Win at All Costs’ approach. We stay true to our primary plan to prepare young athletes for a successful life on and off of the basketball court. We use the game of basketball as a vehicle to teach young players important life lessons by showing how hard work, focus and dedication pays off. Additionally, we help each player develop and define their personal goals for success in basketball and school and provide players with positive support and encouragement as they work toward achieving their goals. Each player receives focused attention, compassion, and high level instruction from our team of highly qualified and experienced coaches. Become a Bulldog today to provide your child with a truly positive, character building basketball experience.
