Classes for 3 year oldsAges 3-4

Early Pre-K classes are a fun introduction to baseball. Spacial orientation games help give our youngest players tools to utilize their surroundings. Focal points of classes are bases, how to be safe, and how to get outs. Hitting, fielding, and throwing mechanics are covered. The rules of the game are introduced with simple games.

Classes for 4-5 year oldsAges 4-5

Pre-K and Public School Kindergarten classes cover many aspects of baseball. We begin with an introduction to field space and base running, teaching the rules of the game in a fun and appropriate setting. Hitting, fielding, and throwing mechanics are incorporated. Beginner levels of offensive and defensive strategy are taught. Players advance to coach pitch game play. 

Ages 6-8

Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade classes begin with a review of field space, base running, and the basic rules of the game. Hitting, fielding, and throwing mechanics are covered. Classes advance to incorporating higher levels of teamwork – putouts, assists, and advanced infield and outfield rules and strategy. Pitching and catching are introduced. Games are coach pitched.

Ages 9-10

3rd and 4th grade classes cover all the basic rules and strategy of the game. Advanced age appropriate hitting, fielding, and throwing mechanics are covered. Classes incorporate defensive positional planning, intermediate and advanced levels of defensive strategy, and the mental approach to hitting. Beginning and intermediate levels of pitching and catching are taught. Players hit coach pitching and player pitching as appropriate.
