Coach Steve is the Founder and Executive Director of the Bulldog Ball Club. He holds a Bachelorʼs and Masterʼs degree in psychology. Steve is a former collegiate pitcher at the University of Georgia where he earned his BA and was a member of the 1990 Division I National Championship Team.
Steve was an assistant coach at Suffolk University and Babson College in Boston, MA from 2000-2003. He was an assistant with the Orleans Cardinals of the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League from 2001-2004. During his tenure on the Cape, Steve had the privilege of coaching some of the best collegiate players in the country. He has coached over 60 players drafted in the Major League Baseball amateur draft, including 4 ﬁrst round and 4 second round choices. There are 10 players currently playing in the Major Leagues that Steve has coached. Steve directed the Orleans Cardinals Baseball youth clinic and has worked for numerous baseball facilities providing group and individual instruction for children.
Steve lives on the Upper East Side with his wife and two sons.

Coach Carmen is the upper Midwest and Northeastern US scouting supervisor for the Miami Marlins Major League Baseball team. He was named 2012 Scout of the Year and is directly responsible for many high level signings for the Marlins organization. Prior to joining the Marlins staff he coached at University of Maryland, Cortland State, Cornell University and Dowling College. Carmen earned Coach of the Year awards as well as leading Dowling to the program’s first ever Regional Championship.
Carmen spent two summers managing the Newport Gulls in the New England Collegiate Baseball and the Orleans Cardinals of the Cape Cod Baseball League. As manager for the Cardinals, he was selected as Cape Cod League Manager of the Year. His team appeared in back-to-back Cape Cod finals and won the championship in 2003.
Carmen saw 23 of his 24 players from the 2003 championship club selected in the Major League Baseball Draft. He has coached more than 60 drafted players, including five in the first round.
Coach Carmen will be responsible for overseeing the baseball instruction and training programs for camps and competitive travel and Bulldog Baseball League teams. We are very fortunate to have a talented and experienced Major League scout as a part of our program.
Coach Sam is the Director of Operations for the Bulldog Ball Club.
After graduating from Swarthmore College in 2007, Sam spent four years playing and coaching professional baseball internationally. He developed youth and adult baseball organizations in Western Europe and Australia from 2008 – 2010. Sam organized the Belgian National Little League team in 2008, competing in the European Little League World Series. He managed national championship winning teams in Switzerland and Austria in 2009 and 2010. Sam was also a summer camp director for the New York Yankees.
Sam grew up in New York City, playing high school baseball for Stuyvesant H.S.

Coach Adam is the Director of Baseball for the Bulldog Ball Club. Adam is involved in all levels of baseball instruction provided by the Bulldog Ball Club and is responsible for creating and developing the Travel baseball program and weekend leagues.
Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Adam was fortunate enough to enjoy the College World Series every June, and to have played against some of the best talent throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Colorado as a teenager. Adam went on to play college baseball at a powerhouse junior college in Kansas where he earned All-Conference and All-Region honors as a Catcher. He then transferred to George Mason University where he earned All-Conference honors as a Catcher alongside future Major League players Brandon Inge, Shawn Camp, Mike Colangelo and Kevin Barker. Unfortunately, Adam’s career was cut short due to a serious arm injury. He uses his experience dealing with injury to educate young players about the importance of throwing mechanics and adequate arm rest.
Adam is a certified coach through the Positive Coaching Alliance. His coaching style focuses on hustle, teamwork, setting and attaining goals and establishing a disciplined work ethic. His favorite sport related books are The Mental Game of Baseball by H.A. Dorfman; The Talent Code by Daniel Coyle; Green Light Hitting by Kyle Wagner; Functional Stability Training by Mike Reinold and Eric Cressey.

Coach Casey is the Program Manager for the Bulldog Ball Club. Casey supervises the curriculum for Bulldogs Basketball after school programs, leagues, and travel teams.
Casey played Division II basketball for Post University. A four year starter, Casey was selected team captain her Junior and Senior season for her elite defense and leadership. She led the Eagles in 3 point shooting and was second in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference in 3 point percentage during her Junior season.
Casey graduated from Post University in June 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Studies.
Casey also played softball, where she was a top pitcher and outfielder in her hometown of Highland, NY. She based her playing career on hard work and hustle, and instills these core elements to all Bulldogs players.

Grant is an Assistant Program Manager for the Bulldog Ball Club. Grant is involved in all Bulldogs programs as a supervisor and instructor.
Coach Matt is an Assistant Program Manager for the Bulldog Ball Club. He is involved with all Bulldogs programs, including After School Classes, Travel Baseball, Winter Training, and Summer Camps. He also is an assistant manager for the Rookies and Futures Divisions of the Bulldogs Baseball League. Matt manages the Bulldogs’ Social Media.
Matt was born in Brooklyn, NY, and has lived in Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, and Southern Utah. In High School in Utah, he was a 2-time captain of his varsity baseball team.
Matt graduated from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
At Concordia, he played baseball all 4 years he attended. In his years of playing, he was primarily a middle infielder, while also playing third base, pitcher, and catcher.
